Merry Kushmas! Ooops I mean Christmas….
Well we are just a couple weeks away from the big day. I haven’t done my shopping, my house is undecorated, I put Christmas music on and turned it off less than 3 minutes later and I feel a little Grinchy. Not unusual for me. We decorate the day after our oldest son’s birthday on December 19 and have been doing that for about 17 years. I feel like Christmas has turned into a commercial event that lasts for months and by the time it gets here I am tired of it.
That being said, I do have a couple Christmas traditions that really get me in the mood.
Advent-ure!
I am a huge fan of the Advent Calendars. When the kids were little it was chocolate and treats. For the husband it is always the Star Wars Lego calendar but to be fair he opens it as soon as he buys it and builds it all at once… no patience for this one… lol. For me, I have a couple of fun calendars. The first is coffee. The local Roaster, Rebel Bean, who once upon a time was located in my restaurant, does a 25 day calendar and every day is a new coffee Advent-ure. The second is wine. As the year goes on I randomly buy wine, wrap them up and put them away for December. Hubby and I blind taste them and see if we can figure out what they are.
I call this my Christmas Spirit. It gives me a little time every day just for me and something fun and new to try every day.
So what about Cannabis?
Last year I had the idea to do this but just didn’t have the time to make it happen, so this year I made this my mission. I have spend many hours sourcing, planning, ordering, organizing and preparing (with the help of Abbie at the store) and finally my vision is ready. I can’t wait until Monday to open up my 12 Days of Cannabis box and get started! Will be a great way to finish up the days of work as we inch closer to Christmas day.

I couldn’t settle on what kind of calendar to make, so there are three options. First up - a yummy Edible Calendar. 12 days plus a Christmas day bonus of delicious treats. I will try and refrain from eating mine in advance, but no guarantees. I have hand picked out all of the yummy treats in this box.
