AGE VERIFICATION
To order cannabis products online in Calgary, the AGLC requires age verification prior to accessing our online menu. There are 2 ways for you to become verified.
Get Verified Online Now - Our online verification system lets you use your smartphone to submit a picture of yourself and your government issued ID. Our staff will verify your info and send you an email with your login information. Please allow 30-minutes for us to complete online age verification during business hours.
Visit Us In Store - If you are not comfortable using our online verification, please visit our store and present your government ID. Our staff will be happy to help setup your account. If you have mobility issues or cannot travel, that's OK - Contact Us and we will arrange a time to come to you and setup your account.

WHAT ARE THE LAWS REGARDING BUYING CANNABIS ONLINE?
Starting Mar. 8, 2022, licensed cannabis retailers in Alberta will have the opportunity to offer online sales of cannabis products and will continue to offer choices in legal, high-quality products for consumers.
Amendments to the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act enabled cannabis licensed retailers to sell cannabis online and provide delivery, starting on Mar. 8, 2022. This also means that AGLC will be withdrawing from online cannabis sales, and AlbertaCannabis.org will no longer be in business. All licensed cannabis retailers operating a physical store will have the opportunity to sell cannabis online if they choose, as long as they receive an endorsement from AGLC’s Inspections Branch.
CAN I ORDER ONLINE FROM ANOTHER PROVINCE?
No, this is not legal. Non-medical cannabis purchased from outside of Alberta and shipped by the seller for delivery within Alberta is not legal cannabis.
The regulation of non-medical cannabis sales falls to individual provincial and territorial governments, and not the federal government. Make sure you are purchasing your Cannabis from a licensed retail store.
